A: Did you hear the rumor about the company downsizing?

B: It’s more than rumor. They’re going to announce it tomorrow.

A: I heard that they plan to eliminate 20% of the factory jobs.

B: Yeah, I’m worried about my job, too.

A: 회사가 구조조정 한다는 소문 들었어? B: 소문만이 아니야. 그들은 내일 발표할거야.

A: 20%의 공장 일자리들을 없앨 계획이라고 들었어. B: 맞아, 난 내 일자리 역시 걱정돼.

 

eliminate : 없애다, 삭제하다, (시합 등에서) 탈락시키다, (적적수를) 제거하다
